Ascent Of The Queen Mothers – Pepper Pace

“Sippy need a diaper change,” Rex said seriously while making a face. “I stink, I know.” He bent to put the baby down on the ground, but Rex lifted his legs, avoiding the ground. “Carry me!” “What? I can barely carry myself.” Rex began manipulating the controls of the computer. “I cannot walk. It is too far to crawl.” “Are you saying you’re too young to walk?”
“I am not yet one year of age. I am smart, and yet I cannot master the skill of walking. It is a concern.” Ciprio propped the baby on his hip and then, as an afterthought, grabbed the diaper bag and slipped it over his arms, making sure the laser was at an easy reach within one of the outer pockets.
With a sigh, he began walking back in the direction of the Villa. “I know why you can’t walk,” he said, not wanting to think about needing to call for help. The Bianchis might try to escape if they thought that their crime would be discovered. He needed a minute before he could digest all he had learned since seeing the writing on the wall of the well. “Why can’t I walk, Ugly b—Sippy?” Ciprio looked at him, “Because you ride around in this cart instead of practicing.
Walking is a skill. If you don’t use it, then you can lose it.” “I see. I think you are smart. You will fix the computer so that it will connect to me symbiotically, and then I will not have to manipulate these controls?” “Oh, Guardian, Rex! One problem at a time.”
“It is very important!” “Okay, okay. Keep quiet before we draw more wolves. They’re out there watching but wary. They can still smell the stink of death from their fallen.” Rex looked around fearfully. “We talk later,” the baby whispered. 1kitap1.com/en Chapter Eighteen need to check on a few things, but I don’t want to get out of bed,” Kendrick said. Deedra snuggled against him, burying her face against his neck while locking her legs around his torso. “What are you doing?” He chuckled. “Enticing you to stay right here.”
He gently wrapped his arm around her and then kissed her forehead. After relishing the feel of her man, Deedra sat up. “Okay, sweetie,” she said reluctantly. “We both need to get up. I can get away with someone else taking over the cooking, but I need to order supplies–and you only got one day on the ship.” Kendrick sighed while pulling himself to a sitting position. He looked at her. “I do not like feeling rushed during lovemaking.

He stood at a distance, gazing at her. “She seems exhausted,” Daya said while taking his hand. “Do you think she’s okay?” “She has experienced a great deal of turmoil, but my mother thrives on such things.” He turned and led her from the room and through a different corridor. Daya followed, surprised there was more to see.
This corridor, much like a winding hallway, was lit by small lights near the polished stone floor. “I can’t believe this! How in the universe do you have working energy after being away for so long? And how is everything so clean and dust- free?” He gave her a surprised look. “In Galatia, we use the power of the sun and water. Even humans have used such energy sources for centuries. Galatia has a great amount of running water. As for the cleanliness, an automated bot takes care of that.”
“This place is very human-friendly.” “Aye. Wait until you see the rest.” They rounded one final corner, which led into a bedroom. Once again, he hit the controls, and dim lights came on. Daya released his hand and moved slowly into a room that would be any person’s dream. Instead of relying on skylights like in the main living space, there was an actual floor-to-ceiling picture window carved into the gravel of the mountain.
It was night, but she could clearly see the deep purple skyline with the twinkling yellow stars. However, the majority of the light came from planets that were so close they felt as if you could reach out and touch them. She had never seen a more mesmerizing view. At the point where the horizon met the massive sea, Daya felt as if she were on a private island. She had to tear her eyes from the window to take in the rest of the room.
Next to the window was a bed; a human bed.
