Chart No. 94. -Born 24-10-1949 at 3-33 p.m. (I.S.T.) at 13° Balance of Saturn Dasa at birth : 3 years, 3 months and 18 days. The Ninth House: In this case also, Libra is the ninth house and is occupied by debilitated pitrukaraka and 7th lord Sun. The Sun gets neechabhanga (cancellation of debility due to his sign- depositor Venus being in a quadrant from Lagna).

The 9th house is hemmed between benefics Moon and Venus on one side and Mercury on the other side. It is also aspected by Lagna lord Saturn. The Ninth Lord: Venus as the 9th lord occupies a powerful kendra, the i Oth house, in the company of debilitated Moon (who also gets cancellation of debility due to his sign-dispositor Mars being in a quadrant from Lagna). He is aspected by the sign-lord Mars. Concerning the Ninth House Pitrukaraka: The Sun is in the 9th house itself with cancellation of debility.

He is aspected by Lagna lord Saturn and is subject to a subhakartari yoga caused by Mercury and Moon- Venus. Considered from the Moon ; The 9th house is Cancer and is aspected by Jupiter. It is not occupied by any planet. The 9th lord Moon is in the 1st house with his debility cancelled aspected by sign iord Mars. Conclusion : The 9th lord is strongly fortified. The aspect of Mars, even if malefic, is not really so harmful as being the lord of the sign occupied by 9th lord it only strengthens the 9th lord.

The presence of karaka Sun in the 9th is not very welcome but there is the protecting subhakartari yoga. The 9th house is quite strong save the Sun’s presence there. The native’s father must therefore live fairly long. Compare this chart with Chart No. 93. The father of the native of Chart No. 93 had no career as such nor any earnings.

He was dependent on his father (native’s grandfather) until the latter’s death after which he was taken care of with great love and affection by his son (native of Chart No. 93). In Chart No. 93, the 9th lord Venus occupies Makha whose lord Ketu is in the 8th house, the worst dusthana.

Mercury ruler of the 8th is in the 12th therefrom. Venus is in Leo whose lord Sun is again in the 12th therefrom.
