If I Gave You My Heart – C Wilson

I placed the rag and shirt on the bathroom counter. I took off the shirt that I was wearing and then used it to wipe the cum off of my stomach. I turned the water on warm and then let the rag run under it. I was tired as fuck, so a quick hoe bath would have to do. The only thing that I wanted was to get back in bed, lay next to that man, and sleep until the sun was high in the sky.
Right when the water temperature was just the right amount of warmth for my body, I looked down at the soap dish to grab whatever soap was there. I dropped the rag into the sink as my heart fell into my ass. “Ohhh shit…” I whispered to myself when I saw this necklace in the empty dish. I picked it up and then closely examined it.
I knew this shit had to be too good to be true. That muthafucking pendant matched the same one that I had worn for most of my life. “Shittt…” I whispered again before placing it back into the empty dish. I let the water run for a bit while I paced the bathroom. So this is how I was going to be taken out?
I was going to get some top-notch ass dick and then get murdered. I didn’t see how any of this was fair. I thought about just taking Adonis out first, but I quickly changed my mind when I realized that my purse with my gun inside was in the room with him. I didn’t even bother to wash up.
I put the clean shirt on and tried my best to think of a game plan. I placed both hands over my face and mouth as I breathed deeply. Talia thought I was joking when I said that my luck with men was fucking horrible. I thought about how Adonis wasn’t specific with how he made his money. That’s shit that I did. I thought about how observant he and I both were. I didn’t know where I had let my guard down this much to let another assassin catch wind of me, but I made a promise to myself in that little bathroom that I was not going to get taken out.
When I heard footsteps in the hall, I took a chance and quickly pulled the bathroom door open. If he thought that he was going to finish me off in this bathroom, then I was going to at least give him the element of surprise. Talia turned around swiftly with her hand over her chest. “You scared the shit out of me, cuz. Why the fuck did you pull the door open like that?”

I lightly jogged down the remaining three stairs and rushed in her direction to assist.
She slightly groaned once she was on her feet. I looked down in her face and saw that my old lady was indeed getting just that — old. Her glowing brown skin possessed crow’s feet, and wrinkles laid gently on her forehead. “I gotta stay fit, you know that,” I boasted as I flexed my arm, which made her smile. “You be careful out there. The sun is not even up yet, and you’re going outside.” “The sun is not even up yet, and you’re up and headed in the kitchen,” I countered as I followed behind her slow stroll.
“I just wanna make sure everybody got something in their bellies before they start the day.” “You’re too nice to the niggas in this house, Joy.” “They’re all babies to me.” She sucked her teeth as she pulled a frying pan out of one of the oak cabinets. “And you’re my biggest one.” I kissed her forehead before making my exit. “Be careful!” she yelled out once again before I let the back door close behind me.
